Hi Leeanne,
I was just wondering how you were. Don't you just love technolagy (can't spell it either!!!)?!
I'm afraid anxiety is like that. One step forward, two steps back. I think (certainly for me) I retrigger myself. The fear is gone for a few days and then I look for it, where is it, has it gone this time?!!! Then of course it's back. Other times it seems to come from a clear, blue sky. CBT tells me that isn't true. Some thought pattern I'm having is retriggering the fight/flight response. Sometimes that works and I can trace the thought back and challenge it. Sometimes I'm clueless. It's just there and I have to let it run it's course.
Sorry if this isn't much help.
It's good to hear from you though.
Be strong, love.
This won't last forever. You will get through it.
Love,
Lizard.xx

Welcome back Leehow!
It is natural to have ups and downs, but when we are feeling really low it seems more exaggerated, I think. When I have some good days I think 'hey this is great, back to myself', but then panic when I have down days that 'It's back'. We can gradually climb up the ladder of recovery, but as lizard says, sometimes it feels like one step forward, two steps back. I hope you feel more positive again soon.
All the best
Ann x

Thank u so much every1. jst cant face the rest of my life bein like this, thinkin im on road 2 recovery then bab, hits u harder than u can ever imagine. think i jst live on pure fear if i dnt even hav anxiety feel like its still there and fadedlizzard i think my anxiety is mostly triggered by my analitical thoughts but other times it jst jumps u out of the blue. by no means am i a soft woman, i wld b considered very stong but this jst beyond terrifies me. crisis team say 2 ill 4 cbt then refer me 4 cpn then will refer u 4 cbt then instead were gonna refer u 4 phycopherapy. 2 b honest after 3mnths i cnt b bothered wiv them any more, each nurse u c tells u the total oppisite 2 the other. wen u put ur trust in these people u expect these professionals 2 b on the same path, cldnt b more confusin if they tried. i know theyre stretched the mental health but this is not acceptable. does any1 feel same?
