Oh my word.

Good evening.

A slightly better day today, I nearly felt free but oh my word this is so hard.
A day off tomorrow which can go either way. A friend told me this...

'neurolinguistic programming theory says that if you repeat 'I will not waste Monday',
the key idea your brain will hear is 'waste Monday', then you will waste it!
So try this instead:
I will achieve lots on Monday'.

I'm going to give it a go. Take care.

Hi Ladygray,
I don't know anything abt NLP but I like the idea of reframing things as a positive intention. I'll be trying that.
Glad you've had a brighter day :)
Best Wishes,
Lizard.xx

Hello
Well so far so little!
I've had a healthy breakfast (2x boiled egg) and a couple of cups of tea.
I have been thinking positively, thinking short term - to get stuff done and thinking long term - it's good to have a goal. Unfortunately goals need decisions and that's where I faulter but my train of thought today is... can it get any worse?!
I have to be open with you all and say outside of my anxiety I haven't a care in the world so I struggle to understand why I suffer. It's very strange.
Take care today.

Ffeel really lost, I don't know what I want from this life.

I'm sorry it's not a positive post.

HI
It's been 5 hours since your post so I'm hoping you've come through and feeling positive again. I too have felt good today back in touch with myself and first time in weeks. Hold onto those times and work on building on it. See the situations in a positive light - we can do it!

Thank you martinus, I'm ok... cannot sleep but relaxed more than anxious.
This is a roller coaster for sure.
What comes first the problem or the anxiety?!
Take care.

Hi Ladygrey
Glad you're feeling (a bit) better and hope you get some peaceful sleep soon. Not sure about that one, I used to spend a lot of time trying to work it out but it only made me more anxious! lol. Now I just accept that that's what it is and don't worry about the chicken and the egg conundrum - told myself I've got far more imporatnt things in life to get on with, like spending time with my family and hving a life!

I'm feeling better. I cannot believe the turn around... I could not function over the weekend and now I'm... ok.
I'll going to try my very best to exercise... impossible while I'm low, so tomorrow's plan is to go out for a short run.
Thank you for your support.

Hi Ladygrey
Hope you're still on the up. Hope the run helped / helps (delete as appropriate) Exercise definitely is a good thing to keep up with - helps give balance to you life and gets those endorphins moving. I don't think I could survive without it, sometimes just making myself go for a run can drag me out of a fug. I'm almost excited for the first time in weeks - just taken my first dose of magnesium & calcium supplement!! Hope it helps!! All the best x

Thank you for getting in touch. I'm free from anxiety, I felt it approach today but it didn't surface... all good signs.
No exercise just yet - tweaked my hamstring doing absolutely nothing but I will report back with fitness details v. soon.
Keep up the running, it's wonderful and, once fit, I love it... it's the getting there that hurts.
Take care.
